ABC 4.2.8 E Educating Experience

OK, Here it is, ABC Wednesday time again. This is the day to join in the ABC Wednesday Challenge, and share a little bit of our world with friends all over the world, and learn about them as well, one letter at a time. You can participate too, in either the sharing, or the learning, or both, by visiting ABC Wednesday, Where this week, the letter is

I had an EXCITING EXPERIENCE Recently. Following the Master Composter Class, that I took in another county last fall, I was contacted by a representative from the County Library in that area and invited to do an Herb Presentation at the library.

It was not something I had done before, But I thought it might be a fun EXPERIENCE, so I agreed to do it.

It was very fun, and went well.

In fact, it went well enough that I was contacted this week by a representative of the county extension office from Michigan State University, and invited to do a repeat of the class.

So, what started out as an EXPERIMENT, has turned into much more.

I ENJOY speaking about herbs, in fact, I found that at the farmers markets last summer, I spent as much time EDUCATING people about herbs as I did actually selling them.

Teaching a class allows me the chance to EDUCATE an ENTIRE group of people all at once, about how herbs can be ENJOYABLE.

I am very ENTHUSED about this new EXPERIENCE, and EAGER to do it.

So, for any of you in this area, I would like to invite you to attend a presentation about how to start an herb garden, that will be given April 5, at 1:00 PM.

There is even some talk of having some fun food samples available at this one, so make sure and mark it on your calendars.

  1. Very cool! The more people know about herbs, the better. That's what I say. Congrats, too, on the success of your classes. If I lived in your area, I'd definitely come check it out. But, I'm in CA. :-)

  5. Glad you are mindful of the ECO-system. We compost too. The opposite of master composting, but, in the end, we get rich soil! Oh, love the ASL, "E"
