Don't Take a 3 year old Christmas Shopping

As we watched TV together last night, I asked...

"What should we get Momma for Christmas."

The answer:

"A red wolf"
(That's one that I bet nobody here has asked for yet...)
"Where would she keep it?"
"Over there"
(As she pointed to a vague corner of the living room.)
"Hmm..." I wondered. "What would it eat?"
"Goats."
(Do we have a lot of feeder goats we need to get rid of???)
"And who would clean up after it?"

"Someone else would do that."
(I should have known...)

I think maybe I should finish up my shopping without her help...

  4. Hi Troy...
My Friend that is just adorable. I love it. She knew just what Mommy needed and even how to get it, where to put it, and what to feed it. Now I love a gal who knows what she wants.

Now inquiring minds want to know, what did you two get Mommy for Christmas?

I hope you had a wonderful one. Are kids the best? We have 8 grandkids and we had so much fun with them this year.

Hope you and your family have a wonderful New Years Eve my friend. I need to get with you and start gearing up for my lovely little herb garden. Weather here in the desert is wonderful, but I would like to try growing some inside first. Any thoughts on that? Where to start?

Talk to you soon. Magical thoughts to the family for New Years Eve. 2011 is going to be a great year. Sherry

  5. I think you really needed to get a realistic looking stuffed wolf and stick it in the corner. Imagine the surprise and wonder in those 3 y/o eyes Christmas morning!

(It is something my dad would have done to me.)

Wishing you and yours a wonderful and very very happy New Year !
