Nifty Thrifty Tuesday

It's Tuesday and besides Tuesday Trivia Tie-in, we get to celebrate:

Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays
at Coastal Charm

Now, my Tuesday tie today was definitely a thrifty find, you can read all about it here, but I also wanted to share another Nifty Thrifty purchase I made this week.

What's more thrifty than the dollar store? That's right, the clearance bin at the dollar store.

On a recent visit to the dollar store, I found a whole bin filled with things like this that were marked 25 cents.

This bucket had a broken handle, but since I just plan on using it for a planter, it doesn't need a handle anyway.

And guess what I found in the bottom of the bin?

A whole bunch of seeds!

A quarter is almost always a good deal!

Make sure and stop by Coastal Charm, to say "HI" to Linda, and check out all the other Nifty Thrifty posts.

Be sure and join me each Tuesday for Tuesday Trivia Tie-in, where readers are invited to share trivia and show off their treasures.

  4. Great find! Last year I bought a seed spreader at a garage sale and the owner threw in a bag of grass seed and fertilizer. Much better deal than I expected!
