I take great pride in the fact that I am not completely computer illiterate. That's why sometimes, when I come across something that I have no idea how to do, I struggle.
I could always ask for help. After all any ten year old kid could probably run circles around me when it comes to computing. But that would mean admitting that I am not smarter than a fifth grader, and true as it may be, it's not a point I am ready to concede just yet.
So I usually just pretend that I didn't want that silly feature on my blog anyway...
But with the help and encouragement of my wonderful wife, (Everyone should have a wife, men are so much luckier than women.) occasionally, I swallow my pride and allow someone, (usually her,) to help me with some computer thingy.
She spent a few minutes recently and did what would have taken me an hour to muddle through, and I now have, on my left hand sidebar, way down near the bottom, a feature that allows people to subscribe to my blog.
You can subscribe either in a reader ( I have no idea what that means,) or via email.
Email subscribers will get an email any time I post a new article.
Of course, it goes without saying (why do people always say that, then say the thing that goes without saying anyway?) that anyone may still continue to visit my blog and read it in the traditional way as well.
Nothing else is changing, I have just added one more way to follow this blog.
I just did that too-- Wish else knew about the computere here! But maybe you can help me what is the link for the superior scribbler award page --I can't get it to work. Thanks so much
