I learned some things from your post, but skipped the last section on the lore stuff.Corner Gardener Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10631500918579405664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-413551319369017758.post-72529701252748023462009-10-19T12:34:34.427-04:002009-10-19T12:34:34.427-04:00I found your blog as I browsed through "Porch...I found your blog as I browsed through "Porch Days". Your title intrigued me. That is the mantra of my company...and we have grown more than double since last year! The American (and human) spirit is incredible! We can overcome and continue.

I thoroughly enjoyed your "tutorials" on herbs. And I love cilantro. I use it frequently in my salsas and salads. When we lived in PA, we had a fabulous herb garden. Now, here in FL, I am having difficulty with the bugs and the heat...herbs do fairly well in fall and spring.

Look forward to reading more of your musings...
Jane (Artfully Graced)Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04217873835177215930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-413551319369017758.post-40217832399199719522009-10-17T16:01:30.290-04:002009-10-17T16:01:30.290-04:00I love cilantro. But you gave me the idea of trying to sow it now (it's not that hot anymore, yet we still have a lot of sun).

Also fresh cilantro goes well with lentils. The famous Moroccan lentil salad uses cilantro.

Great article as always. I do know that it has become very popular as of lately. Maybe next year, I'll grow a pot next to the kitchen door so I can keep an eye on it.

JaneAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-413551319369017758.post-61974376557787025562009-10-17T07:42:08.497-04:002009-10-17T07:42:08.497-04:00Troy,
