I have a composting...Very interesting series, Troy. I have a composting experience to share. When planting some cosmos and cleome seeds this spring, I mixed some compost into the soil. Later, I noticed what I thought were funny-looking little flowers - they looked like tomato plants. That's because they WERE tomato plants. This illustrates that compost doesn't necessarily get hot enough to kill seeds, and emphasizes how important it is not to add weed seeds to your compost pile!
